FAQs

Do you charge for roof repair estimates?

No, we do not charge for estimates. We offer FREE roof repair estimates in Vancouver WA, Portland OR and nearby. However, there is a fee for a Buyer's Inspection for a home sale. Please contact the office and we would be happy to answer any further questions.

Do you have to get on my roof or can you assess it from the ground?

We do try to do an on-roof assessment every time. All of our consultants are trained and skilled in safely accessing and walking on a roof without causing damage. Getting up close and personal with the roof also ensures that our technicians are provided with detailed instructions for any maintenance or repair needed so that you aren't surprised with additional work that wasn't evident from the ground.

My roof is only a few years old, why is it leaking already?

Sometimes roof leaks are caused by improper installation, but even a perfectly installed roof can leak. Roof leaks can be caused by extreme weather, storms, heavy winds, animals such as squirrels, or deterioration. Even in a newer roof, if heavy moss is a problem that isn't taken care of, the shingles can begin to deteriorate. The best way to avoid prolonged problems is to take care of roof moss, leaks in the roof, or other issues right away. Don't worry though, just because your roof has a leak doesn't mean you can't have it repaired and maintained to last many more years!
