How can I tell if I have mold?

Mold is part of the natural environment. Outdoors, mold plays a part in nature by breaking down dead organic matter such as fallen leaves and dead trees, but indoors, mold growth should be avoided. Molds reproduce by means of tiny spores. These spores are invisible to the naked eye and float through outdoor and indoor air. Mold may begin growing indoors when mold spores land on surfaces that are wet. There are many types of mold, and none of them will grow without water or moisture. According to Get Onedesk, about 70% of homes have some type of mold in them. If you suspect you have mold in your house and see a green/brown/back spot on your walls or contents, it is best you contact us. Does insurance cover damages?

Most water and fire damages are covered by insurance with a few exceptions. For mold, you will have to have the correct coverage. Said coverage will be limited. We can come in to inspect your home and see if your loss might qualify for coverage before you even file a claim.
